Chapter Four: A Rogue's Life

 Fire blocked the fishercat and sent it flying by tossing it in the air.  It made a leap for Greykit and Fire slashed its back. The fishercat clawed Fire's wounded pad, making him yowl in pain . Fire made a lunge for the fishercat's neck and bit it .  The fishercat gathered its last bits of strength and knocked Fire to the riverbed. Water splashed up into the air.
"This fishercat is tough," thought Fire. "When will it give up?"
 Fire made one last lunge for the fishercat's neck and bit it. The fishercat struggled, but the force of the bite was too powerful. The fishercat fell to the ground, gasping for air. It took one final breath and died.
The rest of the clan gathered outside of the den. "My kits are safe," Feathermoon meowed. She ran up to the kits and nuzzled their faces. The kits purred and rubbed against their mother.
Minnowstar leaped up onto the waterstone and yowled, "The rogue has saved two kits and is now a member of Waterclan. His name is now Shalowwave."  Cheers rose from the crowd of cats gathered below the waterstone.
" Shalowwave , wow , I'm finally a clan member, " Fire thought with pride.
