chapter 5: A Rogue's Life

One moon had passed since Shallowwave had gotten his warrior name. It was a dark night in greenleaf. No clouds covered the moon, which meant that Starclan was showing its approval. Shallowwave was at the warrior gathering. The cats were sitting close together in the clearing. The roar of the waterfall rang in his ears, as if it were trying to tell him something.
An announcement from Rockstar made Shallowwave's ears prick up .
"Cats of Waterclan , listen to my warning, we have scented rogue scent on the darkcave. We all know that is your territory. We ask you to stay out of it because it is very dangerous."
A reply from Snowstar, Iceclan's leader, shot towards the Fireclan leader. ''And you think that Waterclan is noble ? How repulsive! ''  A yowl of anger spouted from the Waterclan cats.
Leafstar of Skyclan raised her head. '' The moon is covered in clouds! Starclan is angry with our response !''
The cats ran toward the the rock tunnels that led to the clan camps. Shallowwave could hear the dark sounds of the crows from the deep rock tunnels leading to the clan camps. They sounded in his ears as if it was a  warning that menacing times were to come. The gathering was one of those things  that made the whole clan feel disrespected.   Back at the camp now, Shallowwave walked to his nest .
